SAT
Overview
The SAT is an exam required by many colleges and universities for admission. Students taking the SAT should also consider the ACT, which is now accepted by all major colleges. The SAT Reasoning exam consists of the following three sections:
- Critical Reading: two sections featuring both critical reading and sentence completion questions
- Math: two sections comprised of both multiple choice and student produced response problems
- Writing: a graded essay and two sections which tests grammar rules through the use of sentence correction, error identification, and paragraph improvement questions
