PREPMATTERS WELCOMES BRIAN ROBERTS AND NAMARA SMITH TO MCLEAN AND BETHESDA LOCATIONS
Weekend Administrator Also Joins Team to Accommodate Demanding Tutoring Schedule


McLean, VA. November 27, 2007 - PrepMatters, a leader in standardized test preparation, academic tutoring and educational counseling in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area for over a decade, announced today that Brian Roberts and Namara Smith have joined the company as tutors for the Bethesda and McLean locations.


Roberts comes to PrepMatters as a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Math and Computer Science. After several years spent as a software developer, he returned to Indiana University Law School, earning his Juris Doctorate this past May. His expertise includes the PSAT, SAT, ACT, SSAT, and GRE tests and Math coursework through calculus.

Smith brings a unique educational background to PrepMatters. She attended a two-room schoolhouse in Katmandu, was home-schooled on a houseboat in Fiji, attended the International School in Nairobi, and high school at Horace Greeley in New York. Smith is a graduate of St. John’s College in Santa Fe with a liberal arts degree. While attending St. John’s College, she enrolled in the Great Books Program and read the original works of the Western Canon in philosophy, literature, history, math, science, and music. Smith has also spent several summers tutoring English in Tuscany, Lisbon, and Madeira. Her expertise includes the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and SSAT tests and Literature.
