Philosophy:
My tutoring philosophy revolves around communication and honesty. Students need to know that our goals are the same, and to reach those goals, we need to communicate clearly and honestly. I try to inspire an atmosphere where the students are comfortable disclosing their uncertainties and anxieties, so that together, we can reach a higher level of accomplishment.
Bio:
Rod graduated from Dartmouth College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree after majoring in history. Rod also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Drake University School of Law in Des Moines, Iowa in 1998. Since law school, Rod has delved into the finance industry with MBNA America, and most recently, into commercial real estate in Baltimore. Rod currently resides in Columbia, Maryland with his wife Joy and his young son Samuel.
