Philosophy:
The most important part of preparing for the SAT is becoming familiar and comfortable with the test. Once the intimidation and anxiety factor is gone, you are free to approach the test as you should- with an open and relaxed mind. If you know and are comfortable with the concepts, the test itself, and the time-saving methods that we teach, the rest comes naturally.
Bio:
Originally from North Carolina (the heart of the ACC), Cynthia Liu graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in biology and a double minor in psychology and economics and received her J.D. from Georgetown Law School. She has been tutoring students since 1996 and has been tutoring standardized test preparation since 2001. Other subjects she has tutored include Biology, Chemistry, Writing, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, and Calculus for high school classes, AP and SAT II Subject Tests.
