Tests:
ACT, GRE, PSAT, SAT Subjects: Literature, Math

Philosophy:
While I think that ETS and other standardized tests are largely predictable, and that a system must be used to navigate the wiles of the test-makers and optimize scores, I must confess that I love these tests. I find standardized tests irresistible because I love the English language, math, puzzles and other challenges. So, as I work with students to improve and perfect their scores, I hope to impart some of this enthusiasm as well. PrepMatters is an excellent resource that students can use to maximize scores and to get in to great schools. But, of course, the resources at those schools are the real prize. A love for the "stuff" behind these tests, I think, will lead students to make the most of their time at PrepMatters, at their schools, and as professionals.

Bio:
Chris graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English and a concentration in Mathematics. While not at PrepMatters, he works full-time at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History as a Development Associate, working on such exciting projects as the Ocean Initiative. He was previously Program Manager of the Smithsonian's Asian Cultural History Program, where his work took him to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, India, Korea, and Thailand. Chris has also provided technical and data management assistance to the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism, to a California plastic surgeon, and to National Lampoon Radio productions.
